GearGuild covers gaming gear: headsets, keyboards, mice, chairs, and controllers. We care about one question above all: is this thing actually worth your money, or is it marketing with RGB lighting.
How our guides get made
We start with published specs and pricing, then read long-term owner reports for the stuff spec sheets never show: comfort after hour three, mic quality in real calls, and whether the build holds up after a year. We compare real alternatives at different prices, because the right pick for a $60 budget is not the right pick for $200.
Every guide gets an editorial review for clarity, sourcing, and internal consistency before it goes live. We are research-based and carefully reviewed, and we say so plainly instead of pretending we ran a lab.
We revisit comparisons when prices, models, or product lines change.
What we never do
- Paid rankings. Money never moves a position.
- Hype repetition. If a feature does not matter in practice, we say so.
- Pretend testing. Our work is research-based, and we are upfront about it.
How we make money
New site, zero revenue so far. The plan: display ads and affiliate links to gear we recommend. Any commission costs you nothing extra and never changes our conclusions.
