The short version

We compare published specs and pricing, read long-term owner reports for comfort and durability, and call out marketing features that do not matter in practice. Every guide is research-based and carefully reviewed before it goes live.

What we do for every product we cover

  1. Read the specs. What it claims, what it is certified for, and what the warranty actually covers.
  2. Check the price history. Launch prices lie. We look at what things actually sell for.
  3. Read owner reports. Comfort, mic quality, switch feel, and build quality after months of use, the stuff specs never show.
  4. Compare real alternatives. Including the budget option and the "just buy the standard one" answer, which is sometimes right.
  5. Revisit on change. Prices, models, and product lines move fast in gaming gear. We update and date every guide.

What we do not do

  • We do not take paid placements. Rankings cannot be bought.
  • We do not repeat hype. A feature that does not matter in practice gets called out.
  • We do not pretend. Our work is research-based, and we are upfront about it.
